The audition includes an approx. 90-minute technique class and an individual interview with Ballet Embody's Management Team. Please bring pointe shoes and be prepared to wear them, as applicable.

Ballet Embody seeks professional company artists for its upcoming 2022-23 performance season. The Company is able to provide a modest stipend for rehearsals and performances. Currently, we are planning for several evening length performances in December 2022 and Winter/Spring 2023 (TBD). Additional performances are possible due to festival acceptance, gala invitations, etc.

If accepted and schedules align, dancers are requested to attend a 45-60 minute Company warm-up (to include ballet, modern, or contemporary movement) prior to rehearsals. Rehearsals are currently scheduled on Saturdays and occasional Sundays at Synergy Space in Westminster, MD. Additional rehearsals may be scheduled as performances draw near. Dancers will be notified of specific dates and times in advance of these rehearsals. Contracts and rehearsal schedules are to be completed prior to the dancers beginning their work with Ballet Embody.
