Jessica Markiewicz

Jessica Markiewicz (BA Dance, Goucher College; MA Teaching Dance in Higher Education and the Professions and ABT Ballet Pedagogy, NYU) is a Baltimore-based dancer and dance instructor who has performed and taught professionally for the past 15 years. She studied dance at the Ballet Royale Institute of Maryland, and attended summer programs at the Washington School of Ballet, the Kirov Academy in Washington DC, and American Ballet Theater. In addition to performing with Ballet Embody, Jessica has also performed locally with Dragonfly Dance Experiment and Misako Ballet Company in a variety of roles. Jessica is the director of the dance program at Arundel High School and teaches dance and yoga for AACPS.
