Meredith began her dance training at the age of three and has studied ballet, pointe, modern, contemporary, hip-hop, jazz, and tap. Her passion for hip-hop has taken her to numerous master classes and led her to pursue additional training in jazz funk with Broadway Dance Center. This is her fifth year dancing at Project C Studios, with ballet training under the direction of Emily Runkle. Meredith’s interest in the performing arts also includes instrumental music. She is a percussionist who enjoys playing the drums and xylophone.

Tell us about your dance background and training:
started dancing when I was 3 years old. I have taken ballet, pointe, contemporary, modern, hip-hop, jazz, and tap. This is my fifth year dancing at Project C Studios.
What genre of dance is your favorite? Why?
Hip-Hop is my favorite style because I like the music and movement. I feel that I am able to best express myself.
What's your favorite full length ballet/performance/variation? Why?
Sleeping Beauty is my favorite ballet because I like the score and the characters.
Why do you dance?
I dance because I love to be challenged. Dance allows me to connect with music and perform.
What other jobs/activities/talents/passions do you pursue?
I have been playing the drums and xylophone since I was 9 years old. I also have an interest in cinematography.
